Why book through us?

The Organising Committee proposes all referees and participants to be accommodated in the Mamoura precinct and the Helnan Hotel in the Muntazah Park adjacent to Mamoura.

  • The Organising Committee block booked the Mamoura accommodations with the Mamoura General Management at very interesting rates.
  • Close to the action: the Mamoura Precinct is in walking distance from the beach, as well as ample parking space, walkways, shops, restaurants and a super market. The ILS Lifesaving Village is also in the Mamoura precinct.
  • With an estimated 4,000 apartments, Mamoura is able to house over 16,000 people. Each of the available apartments passed a personal quality check by the Organising Committee and the selected apartments are the best ones in the Mamoura precinct. Some apartments are below standards and therefore we advise you to book through the Organising Committee.
  • Mamoura precinct is a guarded zone, surrounded with a 3 m high wall and accessible through a 24/24 - 7/7 policed gate.

Furthermore

While hotels in the area are exaggerating their rates and being uncooperative (such as the Mamoura Paradise Inn Hotel which is a two star hotel asking rates as high as 250 USD for a room while offering rates of 60 Euro on the internet), the selected apartments and hotels are cost-effective and satisfactory. You might be able to find cheap(er) accommodation in Alexandria but please be aware:

  • Hotel rating: to compare to western standards you should remove 2-3 stars.
  • It is not certain that the hotel or the neighbourhood is safe like in the Mamoura precinct and the selected hotels.
  • Hygiene is possibly low in accordance with your standards and therefore there is a higher risk of diseases.

Booking Accommodation and Transport

The Rescue 2010 is offering appropriate accommodation and transportation formulas at very competitive rates. You do not need to book directly to the hotel, apartment or transport agent. Do it all through the Organising Committee.

Please fill in your requirements on the Registration Sheet and the Organising Committee will do all bookings for you. The Organising Committee will then issue an invoice and if that is approved by you, then payments can follow and final bookings can be made.
