Registration

Registrations are open and the EDLF welcomes all to register.

Who needs to register?

It is imperative that all people traveling to Alexandria and willing to compete in the Lifesaving World Championships, or willing to be a team manager, official, guest or spectator, be registered in order to allow the Egyptian Federation to provide them with an accreditation. Only with an accreditation people will be able to enter the venues.

How to register?

The Accreditation is done with two forms:

The Registration form (for everybody) contains basic information on people attending as well as accommodation and transport details. Everybody travelling to Alexandria for Rescue 2010 should register, such as volunteers, accompanying people, competitors, team officials, referees, judges, spectators, etc.
The Online Competition Inscription (for competitors only) informs the Organising Committee in which competition and events a competitor is participating. Only competitors or their team managers should fill out these details. Once the registration is done, you will receive a login and password from the ILS headquarters and then you will be able to do your competition entry or that of your team.

Teams and individuals are invited to register by filling out forms and mailing them back to info@rescue2010.com or rescue2010@ilsf.org (ILS headquarters).

Entry Deadlines

The EDLF has identified three entry deadlines.

Early entries: Entries between 1 April 2009 and 31 December 2009.
Normal entries: Entries between 1 January 2010 and 31 July 2010.
Late entries: Entries between 1 August and 15 September 2010.

Entries after 15 September will only be accepted in exceptional cases and a late entry penalty of 50 Euro applies.

ILS Affiliation

All competitors must be registered with an ILS Full Member Federation and provide proof with a declaration of membership by their National Federation.

Payments

Payments can be made to a bank account specifically opened for Rescue 2010. The registrations will be handled by the ILS headquarters in close collaboration with the Egyptian Federation.
